Double Page Spread- final

This is the final draft of my double page spread. Overall the layout and initial intentions of the appearance of the double page spread has remained the same throughout. As I inserted the images into the template  it drew together the whole appearnace and relaxed music feel to the magazine, which I feel my target audience will appreciate and enjoy.

Contents Page- final

This is the final draft of my contents page. The layout has slightly changed since my previous draft due to the reducing of number of images, however I am pleased with the outcome as I now feel it provides the correct amount of information and images needed to keep my audience interested and wanting to read the magazine.

Front Cover- final

This is the final draft of my music magazines front cover. Due to the image, I had to slightly alter the placement of puff's and coverlines, however overall it has turned out the way I intentionally expected and wanted it to, in a way my target audience will enjoy and want to read.

Evaluation

Devlopment of drafts through audience feedback

I got feedback from peers, then improved and devloped each section of my magazine due to this, in order to appeal even more to my target audience, and create a professional magazine.

Double Page Spread- first draft

This is the first draft for my double page spread. After following the template I created, I managed to create an informal interview styled content to the mag with information appealing to my audience; fans, growing up etc, as well as information on the music institution and ideologies. I also continued with the same use of colours and font, to keep it aesthetically pleasing to my audience and keep the same look of the magazine running throughout.

Double Page Spread- template

After analysing and researching different double page spreads, I created this template as a design for how to present it to my audience. I have used to main images for the articles, as well as a traditional collumn design for my information, whilst using a quirky shaped border for my title. I have also continued with the same use of colours and fonts throughout to keep it looking proffessional and simple.

Double Page Spread- analysis of NME

I analysed a alternative double page spread in NME magazine to see what sort of content I could include in my magazine, and also some different ways I could layout and display my information and images to make it more appealing to my target audience.

Contents Page- first draft

This is the first draft with written content of my Contents Page. I slightly adapted the layout from my previous first intentions due to the amount of information and the size of images I was planing to use therefore re-arranged the design. I have continued with the colour scheme of black, white and red, and also with the same fonts I initially wanted to use to keep the magazine looking simple, professional yet asthetically pleasing to my target audience.

Contents Page- template

This is the template I created for how I want to layout my contents page for my music magazine. I have chosen to continue with the red, white and black colour scheme and font style. However I have also decided to use a few more pictures as my target audience would want something more laid back and aesthetically pleasing when trying to find the article they wish to read.

Contents Page- research analysis of Billboard magazine

I researched some contents pages of current hit music magazines such as Billboard, which enabled me to gather ideas in order to design my own contents page.

Front Cover- first draft design

This is the first design I have created for the front cover of my music magazine, I created a rough design then a template then followed the design to create my first draft. I have used the colour scheme of black, white and red as requested in my questionnaire. I have also kept with a simple and traditional layout where it is easy for the reader to differentiate each feature article of the magazine. I have also used some informal fonts for the cover line titles to keep the look of the magazine fresh and appealing for my target audience of 16-17 year olds.

Font Samples for Music Magazine Title

I sampled some fonts for the title of my music magazine 'AMPLIFY'. I have chosen some quirky fonts which are bold and unusual which would appeal to my target audience as they are quite informal making them want to read the magazine and relate to it.
