Template of School Magazine and Research and Analysis of Front Covers of Magazines
After analysising the results from my questionnaire and current exsisting school magazines, I created a template of how the front cover of my magazie will look like. I took into consideration the sort of articles the students said they wanted included in a School Magazine; advice column and upcoming clubs and events, to make it seem more appealing. I created a very simple easy-to-read template so it doesn't look messy and difficut to find out what the magazine will include inside. I also didn't add too much to the front cover so everything is crammed on, I made everything clear and spaced out, yet still using up most of the space to make it look like the magazine contains alot, to again attract the reader.

Reader Profile for Target Audience
To begin my research on my target audience, young teenage girls between the ages of 11-14, I created a reader profile of the psychographic ideology of what they are realted to and are interested in. This led me to create a mood board of images including that of make-up, clothes, bands, activities, school equiptment and technology they show an interest in as I am aware of due to society's ideology of young teenage girls.
I then created a reader profile of the demographic ideology of a 11-14 year old girl who goes to The Folkestone School for Girls, which led me to create another mood board of images of the demographic ideas of a girl from my Target Audience. In this case they would all be girls between the ages of 11-14 who go to the Folkestone School for Girls and all be from different ethnicities and backgrounds.

Introduction
I have chosen to take Media Studies AS as a course, as I am hoping to complete a Fashion Marketing and Communication course at university and feel this course will really benefit me with that. This blog will be used to upload any work relating to the Premilary tasks including School and Music magazines and the work I have completed leading up to my final and finished pieces.
